One of the biggest mistakes in the grass cutting business is that many people tend to over-cut their lawn. The optimal grass length is around 2 inches to 2 ½ inches, as this will provide you with the strongest lawn. If the grass length is too low, more weeds will have the opportunity to sneak their way in and corrupt the nice landscaping design that you have going on. Taller grass length also has the benefit of being able to prevent its roots from drying out because it can hold more water.
